Over the past 15 years the Friends of Knighton Park have achieved the following:
- A completely new play area.
- Installation of an Outdoor Gym.
- Regeneration of the pond in the Heath Garden.
- General improvements to the park (e.g. increased number of seats & bins).
- Involvement in the organisation of the fun day and other events for all the community.
- Additional bands playing on the park.
- Over £160,000 of external grant funding for park facilities.
- Ensuring the Council hear the voice of the local community.
- Raised profile of this important facility within the community.
